THE FINAL RECKONING: HUGE MEGAN WALSH UPDATE LEAVES WEATHERFIELD IN SH0CK đŞď¸âď¸đĽ
Coronation Street airs a huge Megan Walsh update tonight after Will Driscoll finally admitted he was groomed by the teacher. Tuesdayâs episode saw Will have a conversation with Tim Metcalfe, which helped him realise that his relationship with Megan was actually abuse.
Willâs family had thought he was going to Scotland to stay with his mum, but the teen had planned to leave the country with Megan and go to France after stealing ÂŁ2,000 from his dadâs safe.
But Tim opening up to Will about his own experience of being groomed by Trisha made the teen have a change of heart, with Tim eventually leaving Will at the police station so he could give his statement.
Tonight, a downcast Will comes down for breakfast, telling his family that reporting Megan to the police was the hardest thing heâs ever had to do.
Much to his familyâs delight, Will then says heâs no longer going to Scotland and wants to stay at home and sit his exams.
At the police station, Megan is questioned by DS Lisa Connor-Swain after being apprehended while trying to leave the country.
When Megan is once again asked if sheâs ever had a sexual relationship with Will, she denies it, saying itâs just his âdelusional familyâ who believe she has.
Lisa then informs her that Will has now said the pair had a sexual relationship and that he gave her the ÂŁ2,000 he stole from the safe.
Megan still denies the relationship, saying Will is a liar who is infatuated with her.
Back at home, Ben tells Will that Megan is being questioned by the police, making Will feel guilty about giving his statement.
However, Ben informs him that Megan only booked one plane ticket and was never planning to take Will away with her.
Later, Lisa informs Megan that she has been charged with causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and will be denied bail as she poses a flight risk.
When Lisa comes round to deliver the news to Willâs family, Will overhears that Megan has been charged.
Will then hears his dad saying that heâll probably never recover from what Megan did to him.
When Will sees his dad again, he admits that he heard everything Ben said and breaks down crying, saying heâll probably never get over Meganâs betrayal as he did really believe she loved him.
Coronation Street kicks off Megan Walsh’s downfall tonight as Leanne Battersby catches a glimpse of her threatening Sam Blakeman.
Megan seizes her latest chance to intimidate Sam after he’s rushed to hospital following a shock collapse â but is she pushing her luck too far this time?
Monday’s episode sees Sam lose consciousness and fall to the ground outside the cafĂŠ. When an ambulance arrives on the scene, paramedics discover a clue to the collapse â Sam’s secret stash of ADHD medication in his pocket.
Sam has been misusing the medication as a study aid after being manipulated by Megan, who has been trying to make him doubt his academic progress.
At the hospital, Sam regains consciousness and lies to Leanne, Nick Tilsley and Toyah Battersby â claiming he only took the pills because he was worried about his exams.
Leanne suspects that there’s much more to it, but she struggles to get any clarity from her traumatised stepson when she gently questions him.
Back on the cobbles, Megan informs Will Driscoll of what’s happened and he immediately expresses regret over how they’ve pushed Sam to breaking point by bullying him into silence regarding their inappropriate relationship.
Megan promises Will that they have nothing to worry about, as she’ll speak to Sam and make another attempt to keep him quiet.
However, when Megan sneaks her way into Sam’s hospital room and threatens him to stick to their agreement, Leanne is watching from the doorway. How much has she seen?
Corrie bosses have promised that this week’s episodes are the beginning of the end for Megan, culminating in Eva Price informing her partner Ben that his teenage son has been groomed.

Coronation Street spoilers follow for Tuesdayâs (April 21) episode, which is now available to stream on ITVX.
Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) is truly rotten, isnât she?
A depraved paedophile and predator who preys on young boys, grooming them into thinking that a relationship between an underage child and an adult is âtrue loveâ, all the while targeting anybody who she perceives as a threat to her carrying out her sickening activities unfettered.
She launched a campaign of outright psychological torture against Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) when he discovered her abuse of Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale), displaying her uncanny ability of zeroing in on a persons weakness and exploiting it for all itâs worth.
For once, though, Megan was outmatched, and despite turning to drugs and wracked with anxiety amid her threats to utterly annihilate his life, Sam summoned the courage to tell his step mum, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) what was happening.
With her secret blown, Megan was forced to change tack, outright unwilling to lose the battle, and with her having Will firmly under her thrall and unwilling to admit to anything, the Driscollâs have been torn apart as the lack of evidence has meant that the CPS are refusing to charge Megan.

Discussing Meganâs approach to life, Beth said: âShe is the most important person in her life, and sheâll step over anyone to come out on top.
âHer cleverness is her downfall, but so is her self-righteousness. She thinks sheâs Godâs gift and that she can get away with anything.â
Does she feel any guilt for her heinous actions?
âShe feels guilt, but her own life and her own desires are more important than anything else,â Beth said.
âSheâs a narcissist. She feels sadness and empathy, but she snaps herself out of it because guilt would hold her back from getting what she wants. Her needs always come first.â
With nothing pending against her from a legal standpoint, Megan plotted her escape to Paris, while Willâs brother, Ollie (Raphael Akuwudike) railed at dad, Ben (Aaron McCusker) over his failure to protect Will from a sexual predator.

Driscoll matriarch, Maggie (Pauline McLynn), eager to ensure that Ben wasnât pushed into making a potentially disastrous decision, enlisted Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) to confront Megan and force a confession from her. Ben found her pounding at Meganâs door, before they both broke down at the carnage the evil teacher had inflicted on their family.
With Eva convinced that Megan has done a Houdini and vanished, sheâs more desperate than ever to find evidence that could nail her for good. Against Toyah Battersbyâs (Georgia Taylor) advice, Eva agreed with sister Leanne, she needed to search Willâs roomâŚ
âŚand she did, unfortunately coming up empty handed. She was almost busted, though, as Toyahâs one job of stalling Will was an utter bust. Luckily, he seemingly bought their jumbled story about a vegan, chick-pea, falafel curry, tossing his coat aside and stalking up to his room.

Though Eva moved to reprimand him for his sloppy placement of the coat, Leanne hushed her and embraced her inner young-Battersby, regaling tales of her own youth, in which sheâd hide cigarettes, bottles of WKD and Toyahâs chewing gum in the lining of her jacket to evade detection.
Her theory rang true when she found a phone hidden in the coat lining, a phone that Eva confirmed sheâd never seen before. Tapping away, she discovered no messages, but found one, lone contact: Megan. With Leanneâs encouragement, she text the number and proposed a meeting, with Megan replying âsee you tomorrowâ.
Has Eva finally got everything she needs to expose Megan to the police and ensure sheâs sent down? PotentiallyâŚbut how will she manage the situation?
