SHOCKING TWIST!! Coronation Street fan theory would mean colossal twist for Sally and Tim

A Coronation Street fan has shared a theory regarding Tim and Sally Metcalfe’s (Joe Duttine and Sally Dynevor) new storyline – and it really would change everything for the couple if true.
Producer of the show Kate Brooks recently confirmed the beloved characters will be faced with quite a challenge this year, and it’s one that will test them as new foster parents.
‘There’s a massive story for Sally and Tim that comes to the to the fore, and it’s a story that tests them as people, test them as a couple, but tests them as foster parents as well’, she explained.
‘It’s a bit of a curveball, and it comes from slightly left field, but absolutely upends their lives. It’s how they navigate that situation going forward. Sally and Tim are so beloved, and I just adore them. And it’s seeing them in a slightly different position than what we’ve seen them in before.

This week, Tim has been in the spotlight as he’s played a huge part in helping Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) accept that he was sexually abused by Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon). The conversation they had a few days ago only happened because Tim has come to terms with his own ordeal as a result of learning about Will’s.
Tim explained to Will that a woman called Trisha took advantage of him when he was 14 years old. The shared experiences prompted Will to report Megan to the police, while Tim went in search of closure himself.
Outside Freshco’s, Tim confronted Trisha and said that she sexually abused him. Trisha denied all of the accusations, and quickly left the car to end the conversation.

When he returned home, Tim explained to Sally that Trisha not taking responsibility for what happened didn’t matter, because what is most important to him is that he knows in his heart that what happened to him was wrong.
Following these scenes, a fan of the ITV soap has taken to social media platform X to speculate that this may not be the end of Tim’s story, and are wondering if he will soon discover that he is the father of a baby Trisha gave birth to.
‘I’m not convinced this Tim and Trisha storyline is over yet, we’ve been told Tim and Sally have a big storyline coming up what if Trisha is hiding the fact she has a child fathered by Tim and he finds out’, they wondered.
It would certainly be a ‘massive story’ as Kate Brooks teased, and one that will absolutely test Sally and Tim as a couple, and will most definitely ‘upend their lives’.
Is this what lies ahead for them?
A new Coronation Street fan theory has predicted that Sally Metcalfe will agree to help Lou Michaelis escape prison behind Tim’s back.
On Monday night (July 21), Sally visited Lou in prison with Shanice and Joanie.
But then Lou asked Sally for a big favour. She wanted her to help her get a loan to pay for legal fees…

Lou’s desperate need for help from Sally in Coronation Street
Sally took the girls to visit Lou, telling them that their mum really wanted to see them at the prison.
However, Brody Michaelis didn’t want to join them and had cut ties with his parents, with Sally and Joanie making out that Brody was ill.
Lou saw through this though, thanks to an innocent slip up made by Shanice, and knew that Brody wasn’t actually ill.
Telling the girls to go off to the corner for a bit, Lou then begged Sally for her help.
She said that she couldn’t hack it in prison and wanted her to take a loan out to pay for her legal fees so that she could be free from prison and return back home to her kids…

Coronation Street fan theory predicts huge Sally betrayal
With Lou making such a huge request from Sal, one fan theory has now predicted that Sally will grant Lou’s wishes without Tim Metcalfe knowing.
Taking to X, one Coronation Street fan reckoned that Sally will indeed get the loan and help Lou out without discussing things with her husband first.
The theory read: “I fear Sally’s going to foolishly get a loan for Lou’s expensive brief without Tim’s knowledge…”
But, will Sally help Lou Michaelis? And, can she help prevent Lou from being locked up behind bars for a long time?
