We’ve got another busy week to look forward to on Coronation Street, with new faces and budding friendships taking centre stage.

But, of course, it wouldn’t be Corrie without some drama, and Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is at the centre of it as the targeted hate campaign against him hits new heights.

Not to mention, he ends up lashing out at newcomer Idris Nazir – played by Junade Khan, who first appeared on the cobbles in 2008 – when he catches him laughing at footage of Daniel’s attack.

Idris receives a less frosty welcome from Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), and they’re not the only ones striking up new relationships.

Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) is surprised when Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) suggests they revise together, and it looks as though a new friendship may be striking up.

So, what are you waiting for? Take a sneak peek at our spoiler videos below.

Hope attempts to connect with Will in classic Hope fashion – some playful banter and mischief – and he gives as good as he gets in return.

The conversation quickly shifts to Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon), with Hope announcing that she saw Will with her the night before.

Will denies being the one to seek her out and insists that nothing happened, though Hope clearly isn’t convinced.

As she laments to Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown) about the male species, Will finds Megan’s new number in his pocket. What will he do?

When Daniel is left alone outside No.1, he is startled by a sudden attack from two teen lads who spray him with bottles of ketchup, all while filming the ordeal.

Daniel attempts to fight back, but by the time they run off, he is left shaking.

Who was behind the attack? Given what the lads were shouting, it sounds like it has been inspired by the online hate posts Daniel has been receiving…

Sarah Platt begins to suspect something is wrong when she overhears Kit Green having a mysterious phone conversation outside a café. Despite Kit’s attempts to hide it, Sarah senses he’s keeping a big secret related to Daniel’s case.

Meanwhile, Bethany notices Daniel becoming increasingly withdrawn after the ketchup attack. He refuses to reply to her texts and even gets angry when she suggests calling the police.

In another development, Hope continues to spend more time with Will. Both of them sneaked to the playground behind the school to avoid their friends, and Hope didn’t hesitate to tell Will about the “pranks” she’d gotten up to in the past.

Will seemed both amused and wary of Hope’s strong personality, but he clearly couldn’t deny that he was attracted to her.

Leanne woke up with mixed feelings after the unexpected kiss with Idris the night before. Despite trying to appear calm at the Bistro, she kept getting distracted whenever her phone rang.

Nick quickly noticed something was amiss and didn’t hesitate to ask. However, Leanne evaded all questions, making Nick even more suspicious.

Across the street, Idris began to integrate with the residents of Weatherfield after participating in a small quiz at Rovers Return. Ken Barlow was quite impressed with Idris’s historical knowledge, and the two quickly found common ground.

However, not everyone welcomed Idris warmly. Tracy became wary of his growing closeness to Leanne and warned that “newcomers at Weatherfield always have something to hide.”

Daniel tried to return to teaching, but things quickly spiraled out of control when a video of the attack went viral on social media.

A group of students secretly played the video in class, leaving Daniel stunned. Despite trying to remain calm, he eventually lost control and shouted, silencing the entire class.

After class, Daniel discovered an insulting message on his desk. He immediately suspected it was a student’s doing, but the evidence was inconclusive.

Bethany tried to comfort Daniel, assuring him he wasn’t alone, but the pressure from the online attack was clearly wearing him down.

At the café, Sarah unexpectedly sees Kit meeting privately with one of the two teenagers involved in Daniel’s attack. When Kit realizes he’s being watched, he immediately tries to change the subject.

Sarah begins to believe that Kit knows more than he told the police.

Meanwhile, Hope grows increasingly jealous as Megan constantly texts Will. Despite trying to appear indifferent, she can’t hide her discomfort when Will laughs and talks with Megan outside the kebab shop.

Jodie quickly notices Hope’s mood and advises her to be careful if things don’t go too far. But with Hope’s impulsive nature, will she listen?

Elsewhere, Leanne and Idris become even closer when he offers to help her prepare for a fundraising event. Their glances and smiles attract attention from others.

The atmosphere at Rovers becomes tense when Nick directly confronts Idris about his true intentions with Leanne. Idris tries to remain calm and insists he only wants to be friends, but Nick clearly doesn’t believe him.

Leanne, angered by Nick’s interference in her private life, storms off in the middle of the argument, leaving Idris in an awkward position.

Meanwhile, Daniel receives an anonymous envelope on his doorstep. Inside is a photo of him being attacked, along with a scribbled threat on the back.

Panicked, Daniel immediately calls Bethany, but before she arrives, he discovers someone watching him across the street.

In another development, Hope secretly takes Will’s phone while he’s distracted and discovers a series of messages between him and Megan. Feeling betrayed, Hope begins planning to get revenge on her rival.

The whole neighborhood is shaken when Megan’s car is vandalized right in front of the school. The windshield is covered in offensive graffiti, and all eyes quickly turn to Hope.

Although Hope denies any involvement, Jodie begins to worry, knowing her friend is perfectly capable of doing such a thing.

Will finds himself in a difficult situation when Megan breaks down in tears and claims she feels unsafe. Whose side will he take?

In another development, Sarah decides to follow Kit after noticing his continued mysterious behavior. But when she witnesses Kit secretly giving money to one of the teenagers who attacked Daniel, things suddenly become much more serious.

Daniel finally decides to report the incident to the police after receiving more threatening messages. However, he begins to suspect that the whole thing might be connected to a former student he had suspended from class.

Bethany tries to encourage Daniel, but she herself feels frightened realizing someone is secretly watching them.

Meanwhile, Leanne unexpectedly receives a formal date invitation from Idris. Despite her hesitation, she finally agrees, much to Nick’s disappointment.

At Rovers, Ken warns Idris that Weatherfield isn’t an easy place to live and that every relationship there comes with trouble.

Idris simply smiles in response, saying he’s ready for any challenge — but does he really know what he’s getting himself into?
