OMG SHOCKING!!! EastEnders fans love ‘breath of fresh air’ actor as he shares set secrets

It’s safe to say Oscar Branning has well and truly made his mark on Albert Square.

Since arriving in Walford earlier this year, the troublemaking teenager has quickly become a fan favourite thanks to his cheeky one-liners, chaotic antics and ability to stir up drama wherever he goes.

Now, EastEnders viewers have been given a glimpse behind the scenes as the BBC soap shared a special TikTok video following actor Pierre Counihan Moullier through a typical day on set.

The fun clip, titled ‘A Day in the Life of Oscar Branning’, sees Pierre take fans along as he arrives for work at Elstree Studios before heading straight into hair and make-up.

From there, viewers are shown the process of transforming the actor into Oscar, complete with his signature tracksuit look, before he heads out onto the Square to begin filming.

One of the scenes featured in the video sees Pierre filming alongside Peter Beale actor Thomas Law at the fruit and veg stall, offering fans a sneak peek at how scenes are brought to life behind the cameras.

The actor also spends time chatting with his fellow cast members, including Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness, who plays Jasmine Fisher and Joshua Vaughan, who portrays Josh Goodwin.

The trio are seen laughing together on the Square as they discuss some of their favourite scenes to film and share stories from life on set.

While the video offers plenty of behind-the-scenes secrets, it was Pierre’s personality that really caught viewers’ attention.

Fans flooded the comments section with praise for the actor, with many admitting Oscar has become one of their favourite characters in recent months.

One viewer wrote: ‘Give him a pay rise, he’s absolutely hilarious!! He’s made EastEnders 100% better lately. I hope he wins Best Newcomer at the NTAs.’

The reaction reflects just how quickly Oscar has become a standout character since his arrival in Walford.

As the son of Max Branning and Tanya Branning, Oscar has soap royalty running through his veins. Although viewers were first introduced to the character as a young child, the role was recently recast and reintroduced with Pierre taking over the part.
