Lisa and Kit at war as the latest Theo suspect emerges in new Coronation Street spoiler video

Tensions are high between Coronation Street detectives Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) in this new spoiler video, as a new suspect in Theo Silverton’s murder enters the frame.

Living on the same street as the crime scene has meant that Lisa and Kit have been investigating close friends and neighbours, but now there are family members involved.

Kit has been away from Weatherfield for the last week or so, and he doesn’t get the warm return he’s hoping for.

It transpires that Todd Grimshaw’s (Gareth Pierce) missing phone has been recovered – a possibly integral piece of evidence.

Viewers will recall that Todd told Lisa that he turned back from the airport because he’d lost his phone, which had everything he needed on it.

However, Kit is shocked to learn that the phone is covered in Brody Michaelis’ (Ryan Mulvey) fingerprints.

Of course, Kit immediately leaps to his son’s defence, insisting that he had nothing to do with the murder, pointing out that they already have someone in custody.

That someone is Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), and there is a mountain of evidence stacked against her. However, she insists that she is innocent, and flashbacks to the night in question back up her story.

Kit’s protests are quickly brushed off and he is warned to stay well away from the case. Will he do as he’s told?

Of course not.

Later in the week, Kit ups the pressure on Gary Windass (Mikey North).

Kit has made it clear that Gary is his number one suspect, but so far, Gary has refused to crack.

After quizzing him about Todd’s phone, Kit tells Lisa that he thinks Gary is hiding something, and he resolves to get to the bottom of it.

The mystery surrounding Theo Silverton’s death takes another dramatic turn as tensions continue to rise across Weatherfield. Just when residents believed the police investigation was finally narrowing down the list of suspects, a shocking new discovery threatens to send the case in an entirely different direction.

Following the revelation that Todd Grimshaw’s missing phone contained fingerprints belonging to Brody Michaelis, detectives find themselves under increasing pressure to explain how the crucial piece of evidence ended up in Brody’s possession. While many residents immediately assume that Brody must somehow be involved, others are not so convinced.

Brody himself maintains his innocence, insisting that there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for his fingerprints being on the device. According to him, he had briefly handled the phone days before Theo’s death and never imagined it would later become central to a murder investigation. Unfortunately for Brody, few people are willing to believe his story.

The discovery creates an even bigger divide between Lisa Connor-Swain and Kit Green. Although both detectives are determined to solve the case, their personal connections to those involved begin to cloud their professional judgment.

Lisa remains focused on following the evidence wherever it leads. She believes every possibility must be explored, regardless of whose feelings might be hurt in the process. Kit, however, finds himself increasingly conflicted. As Brody becomes a serious suspect, Kit struggles to balance his responsibilities as a police officer with his desire to protect his son.

The situation becomes particularly explosive when Lisa authorizes further questioning of Brody. Kit argues that the evidence remains circumstantial and warns that rushing to conclusions could allow the real killer to escape justice. Lisa refuses to back down, leading to a heated confrontation that leaves their working relationship hanging by a thread.

Meanwhile, Gary Windass finds himself under renewed scrutiny.

Despite repeatedly denying any involvement in Theo’s death, Gary cannot shake the feeling that the investigation is closing in on him. Every conversation with the police seems to raise more questions than answers, and his increasingly nervous behaviour does little to ease suspicions.

When Kit unexpectedly arrives to question him once again, Gary quickly realizes that this is no routine interview. Kit presents several inconsistencies in Gary’s previous statements and demands to know why he appears to be withholding information.

Although Gary continues to insist that he is innocent, viewers will notice that he carefully avoids answering certain questions directly. His evasiveness only strengthens Kit’s belief that he knows far more than he is willing to admit.

As the pressure mounts, Gary begins making desperate attempts to keep certain secrets hidden. However, unknown to him, another resident has already started piecing together clues that could expose everything.

Elsewhere, Todd Grimshaw grows increasingly frustrated as the investigation disrupts every aspect of his life. Having already endured weeks of scrutiny, Todd is horrified to learn that his phone may contain additional information that detectives have not yet disclosed publicly.

Fearing that private messages could be misinterpreted, Todd becomes determined to discover exactly what investigators have found. His efforts soon lead him into dangerous territory, particularly when he starts conducting his own unofficial investigation.

The more Todd digs into the events surrounding Theo’s final hours, the more convinced he becomes that someone is deliberately misleading the police.

His suspicions intensify after he receives an anonymous warning urging him to stop asking questions. The message contains information that only someone closely connected to the case could know, leaving Todd genuinely frightened for the first time.

At the same time, Summer Spellman continues fighting to clear her name.

Although substantial evidence appears to point toward her involvement, Summer remains adamant that she has been framed. Her determination earns sympathy from some residents, but many others remain skeptical.

As flashbacks gradually reveal additional details from the night Theo died, viewers begin noticing inconsistencies in the official timeline. Certain events do not appear to match witness statements, suggesting that at least one key individual has not been telling the truth.

These revelations encourage Summer’s supporters to push harder for a re-examination of the evidence.

Their efforts eventually uncover a surprising lead connected to a previously overlooked witness. This individual claims to have seen a heated confrontation shortly before Theo’s death but initially stayed silent out of fear.

The witness’s testimony introduces a completely new suspect into the investigation and sends shockwaves through Weatherfield.

Suddenly, attention shifts away from both Summer and Brody as detectives race to verify the new information. However, proving the witness’s account may prove more difficult than expected.

Complicating matters further is the growing sense that multiple residents are hiding separate secrets unrelated to the murder itself. As detectives untangle one lie after another, distinguishing between genuine suspects and people simply protecting their personal lives becomes increasingly challenging.

For Lisa, the mounting complications threaten to derail the entire investigation. Every breakthrough seems to create two new questions, while public confidence in the police continues to decline.

Determined not to let the case spiral out of control, Lisa makes a bold decision that could either solve the mystery or create even greater chaos. She authorizes a series of coordinated interviews designed to expose contradictions between various witness statements.

The strategy produces immediate results.

Several residents are caught changing details of their stories, and one individual appears visibly shaken when confronted with newly uncovered evidence. Although no arrest is made immediately, Lisa becomes convinced that the killer is finally within reach.

Meanwhile, Kit receives information that leaves him stunned.

The new evidence not only impacts Brody’s position in the investigation but also raises troubling questions about events that occurred long before Theo’s death. Realizing that the truth may be far more complicated than anyone imagined, Kit begins pursuing a dangerous lead on his own.

His actions place him at odds with both Lisa and his superiors, but Kit refuses to walk away. He believes that solving the case requires uncovering every hidden connection, regardless of the personal consequences.

As the week comes to an explosive conclusion, several major secrets stand on the verge of being exposed. Relationships are tested, loyalties are questioned, and long-buried truths threaten to destroy lives throughout Weatherfield.

With multiple suspects still in play and fresh evidence emerging almost daily, one thing becomes clear: the mystery of Theo Silverton’s death is far from over, and the biggest shock may still be waiting just around the corner.
