HOTTES NEWS TODAY!!! EastEnders reveals devastating outcome for Billy Mitchell in early iPlayer release

EastEnders spoilers follow for Tuesday’s episode (23 June), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.

EastEnders reveals a devastating outcome for Billy Mitchell tonight, after he was accused of trying to cheat on his wife Honey with her best friend Bea Pollard. Faced with ‘evidence’ of his infidelity, heartbroken Honey puts an end to her marriage, ousting him from their family home.

The episode picks up from yesterday’s cliffhanger, which saw Bea sharing AI generated voice notes from Billy propositioning her, in front of the whole pub. Flabbergasted Billy pleads his innocence, while Bea claims it has been going on for “weeks and weeks”.

Back at the house, Bea continues her lies, further infuriating both Honey and Billy. The latter suggests Bea “edited” his words somehow, but when he hands Honey his phone to check, she discovers several deleted messages to her friend.

Bea heads over to The Vic to give Honey some space, and is delighted to see that Zoe Slater has stumbled across the fake online dating profile she set up for Billy. As the women analyse the profile, Kim Fox announces that she will speak to Honey about what they found, furthering Bea’s agenda.

Later, Billy returns to the house after receiving some advice from Phil. But Bea is already there and takes the opportunity to goad him.

“I think it’s for the greater good, really. For under-valued, under-estimated middle-aged women everywhere,” she says, explaining her actions. “And also because you’re just not good enough for Honey. And you’re a bit of a loser.”

Billy hits back at the “twisted spinster”, pointing out that she has no loved ones of her own and describes her friendship with Honey as “nothing”. He informs her that Honey will “never” pick her over him and their kids.

However, when they go inside, Kim is showing Honey the dating profile and Billy is once again forced to deny the allegations against him. As Bea reminds her of Billy’s past infidelity with Tina Carter, Honey’s mind appears made up.

“How could you do this again? Cheat on me and betray us all?” she questions. “All this time, you said you didn’t like Bea, but it was a distraction so I didn’t notice that you actually did like her!”

Though Phil fights Billy’s corner, Honey is reluctant to believe her tearful husband and tells him to move out of the house. Meanwhile, smug Bea stays behind to comfort her and Honey asks her to stay.

Could this be the end of Billy and Honey’s marriage? Or will Bea finally be caught out?
