The ITV soap has dropped a number of storyline teasers for the drama set to unfold over the coming weeks, all focused on secrets and lies resurfacing, which ultimately cause relationships to fracture.
Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) is finding it difficult to see a way back from Charity Dingle’s (Emma Atkins) deception and the news that Ross Barton (Michael Parr) is baby Leyla’s father.
Mack – so far – has managed to supress his anger at Ross’ betrayal, but the situation will inevitably come to a head. The duo will soon be involved in a barnside confrontation, with their argument leading to someone’s life hanging in the balance.
Up at Home Farm, Dawn Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) wedding day is fast approaching, but she will struggle to see ex Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) dating Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham). Soon enough, Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) begins to wonder if Gabby might be right about Dawn still having feelings for Billy.

Following the return of Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill), biological son Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) decides to give him a chance. Unfortunately, the hopeful dynamic is short lived, as the café is subjected to a robbery, and the idea inevitably arises that Kev had something to do with it.
Lewis is determined to get to the truth and confronts Kev, who immediately denies any involvement. Kev tries to plead his case, but Lewis is having none of it. Is this the end of the father and son duo already?

When Robert is then struck unconscious by a runaway farm trailer, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) cannot help grow suspicious of Serena, who just happened to be at the scene. Aaron lays out his theory to Robert, and he and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) agree to keep an eye on her.
