Abi finds out why Alfie is in hospital in new Coronation Street spoiler video
Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) is horrified in Coronation Street soon as she learns why her son Alfie is so unwell.
The storyline began in Friday’s edition of the ITV soap. Abi had been trying to get hold of her nightmare landlord about the damp and awful smell that’s appeared in her flat.
The landlord turned out to be newcomer Idris Nazir (Junade Khan), who has shown absolutely zero interest in fixing the problems in Abi’s home.
That evening, Abi sat with Alfie as he fell asleep. The young lad was coughing a lot, and Abi said they’d go to the doctors to get it checked out.
Unbeknownst to her, the damp forming in her flat has caused mould to start spreading underneath Alfie’s bed.

In this new video, we see Abi speaking to Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) after rushing Alfie to A&E with breathing problems.
Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) then arrives with some of Alfie’s things. He explains that while rummaging around for a teddy, he spotted the mould, and is convinced this is why Alfie’s cough is so bad.
Just as Abi rushes to find the doctor, Idris bursts in. She unleashes her anger at him, fully convinced that he is the reason her son is in hospital.
Idris claims that he had no idea the mould was there, but it’s clear those words don’t matter. Kevin even goes as far as saying if Alfie doesn’t recover, he’ll make sure Idris stops breathing.
Because of the issue with Abi’s flat, she’s forced to pack up her things and move back in with Kevin.

While Alfie is in hospital, Idris’ love interest Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and cousin Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) suggest that the person who sold Idris the flat could’ve easily known about the damp issue, and just never bothered to tell him.
Later, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) tells Abi that she should speak to Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) about taking legal action.
She’s determined to hold someone accountable, but will Abi succeed?
