foul play Hunky Coronation Street star spotted watching Scotland at the World Cup but fans are distracted by gross habit
CORRIE’s Sam Robertson has been clocked at the World Cup – but it’s not the balls on the pitch that onlookers were distracted by.
The 40-year-old from Dundee was being interviewed while watching Scotland and eagle-eyed fans noted him having a good scratch over his kilt.

With a phone in his hand, the animated star can be seen moving around with his hands all over the place as he chatted about his hopes for Scotland.
Fans noted the multiple times he went in for a grab down south as he enjoyed the action in Boston, USA.

The video in question was captioned: “The big man loving his time with the Tartan Army!”
In the video, the star appears to be living his best life and explained: “It’s been a few days on the sauce.”

Fans commented: “Itchy itchy.”
“Scratching baws,” noted a second.
“Stop scratching your balls,” instructed a third.
“Does he need some cream?” asked a fourth.
“I’m guessing that wool kilt is a little itchy on the ‘boys’,” suggested a fifth.
“Definitely needs something for that itch!! Leave ya baws alone!” wrote another.
“Someone needs an antihistamine,” and: “Wool and heat are not a good combination,” mocked more followers.
He was also seen joining in with the crowd’s chanting, as supporters climbed up onto the tables of a nearby pub and got stuck into the sporting spirit.
Sam has been staying true to his Scottish heritage and supporting Scotland in the World Cup between his work on Corrie.
The veteran member of the show’s cast joined the soap as Adam Barlow in 2004.
Sam then left the soap in 2007, but reprised his role as solicitor Adam in 2016.
The actor and model is not the only high-profile Scot to head across the pond to show their support for Scotland’s team – including Gerald Butler and Martin Compston.
The role of Adam was originally played by child actor Iain De Caestecker from 2001 to 2003 before Sam took over the role.
Since returning from Canada in 2016 to look after his grandfather Ken Barlow (William Roache) following his stroke, Adam has become a prominent solicitor for the locals of Weatherfield.
Around the same time, he was one of the central suspects to attempted murder after Ken was pushed down the stairs.
He wed Sarah Platt in 2020 – only for the marriage to break down in 2023 after her affair with bad boy Damon Hay.
