Coronation Street’s Christina to be caught out over mysterious secret

Coronation Street fans see Christina Boyd’s secrecy come back to haunt her next week, when George Shuttleworth catches her hugging another man and demands to know what she’s hiding.

For weeks, Christina’s evasive behaviour has had everyone guessing, but what’s really going on is beyond anything anyone could have imagined.

It’s no secret that Christina has done some despicable things in her past, but falling for George really seems to have changed her. When she finally tells the truth, George is left stunned…

“There’s a lot of love for Christina these days, and those close to her hope that she’s being genuine with George,” notes our Corrie insider. “But her shifty actions have caused suspicion, and when Glenda goes through her handbag, she gets a clue that changes everything!”

Armed with the information that Glenda has unearthed, George follows Christina to the precinct, where she meets a mystery man.

That’s when George snaps and demands answers. For once, Christina doesn’t deny that she’s been keeping secrets – she just confesses everything, and George is left reeling.

But when George advises her that being honest is the only way out of the mess she’s in, Christina is terrified of the consequences. Will the secret destroy the wonderful life she’s built in Weatherfield?

Viewers saw the first glimpses of Christina’s shifty behaviour during Theo Silverton’s murder investigation.

At the time, Christina was a suspect in the case and she was called to the police station after discrepancies in her account of her whereabouts that night.

While the murder mystery remains unresolved for the Weatherfield police, fans know that Christina is in the clear as Sarah Platt was the secret culprit.

Meanwhile, recent reports have confirmed that Christina is secretly in contact with her ex-husband Lenny – but the reasons why are yet to be revealed…
