Coronation Street and Emmerdale confirm when next episodes will air amid scheduling chaos
The return of the World Cup is playing havoc with the TV schedules (and that’s not even mentioning Wimbledon coverage on the BBC too), to the point where ‘confirmed’ listings are getting changed last minute. For soap fans just wanting to keep on top of the drama, it’s a bit of a nightmare.
ITV has just confirmed its (hopefully) final schedule for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and Friday.
That means that we can reveal when Coronation Street and Emmerdale fans will get their first episodes since last Thursday.

Tomorrow sees ITV attempting to make up for the chaos with two episodes of each show, with a double-bill of Emmerdale set to air from 7.15pm, while two episodes of Corrie follow at 8.15pm.

It’s then straight into the France vs Sweden match at 9.15pm, while the Mexico vs Ecuador match is taking place at 1.15am on Wednesday morning.
The Wednesday and Thursday soap schedules are pretty standard, except the ‘power hour’ starts on both days at 7.15pm rather than 8pm.
Then finally, on Friday, Emmerdale airs at 7.45pm and Coronation Street follows at 8.15pm.
Episodes should be dropping on ITVX and YouTube in the morning at the usual time.

Over on the BBC, there are two episodes of EastEnders airing on BBC Two tonight rather than BBC One, due to there being no episode on Tuesday.
And thankfully, both episodes are available on BBC iPlayer now.
All these announces schedules are subject to change, but fingers crossed that they don’t.
