VIRAL NEWS UPDATE!!! EastEnders reveals “nerve-wracking” improvised scenes in La Voix Pride episode
Albert Square will be welcoming an exciting visitor next week when EastEnders begins its Pride celebrations. The special episode will see drag queen La Voix performing in The Queen Vic – with plenty of drama on the way.
On Thursday night, Zoe Slater is desperate to bring her twins back together, following their recent love triangle with Oscar Branning. She lies to Josh Goodwin about a Pride event at the pub, hoping his presence will help repair his relationship with Jasmine Fisher.

Meanwhile, Cindy Beale is furious when she learns Zoe is stealing customers from her LGBTQ+ bar The Albert. Determined to win back their punters, Elaine Peacock and Cindy book RuPaul’s Drag Race star La Voix to perform.

However, when La Voix arrives Zoe and Mo trick her into performing at The Vic instead, hoping to impress Josh and Jasmine.
“I’m booked for Walford Pride and was meant to be performing at The Prince Albert. But as I get out of my car, I’m poached by The Queen Vic, and they tell me the venue has changed. It hasn’t, but they pretend it has… uproar, drama, chaos,” the star explained.
Speaking about her guest appearance on the “iconic” soap, La Voix said it was “an absolute joy” and was like “putting two great British institutions together – EastEnders and me”.
“Between us, we’ve amassed a remarkable amount of history!”

She described her performance in The Vic as “amazing”, adding: “It was everything. It’s a gig I’ll never forget; it’s up there with performing for The Royal Family!”
Many of the scenes in the episode were improvised during filming, as the drag queen interacted with various characters in the pub. Though she said it was “great fun”, La Voix also described it as “a little nerve-wracking” to go off-script.
“Improvisation gives you the freedom to really play in the moment and react naturally to what the other actors are doing,” she reflected.
“Of course, it can be a little nerve-wracking because you don’t have a script to fall back on, some of my favourite moments came from those spontaneous exchanges that you simply couldn’t have planned!”
