🚨 CORONATION STREET IN MELTDOWN: SH0CKING SUMMER SPELLMAN TWIST OFFICIALLY EXPOSES TYRONE DOBBS’ DEEPLY GUARDED SECRET AS FANS CELEBRATE RUMBLING THE TRUTH?! đź’Ą

Coronation Street fans think they have rumbled what Tyrone Dobbs is hiding after he failed to help Summer Spellman with her alibi from the night of Theo Silverton’s murder.

As viewers of the ITV soap know, the abuser was revealed as the victim of the murder, which was first revealed would rock the cobbles back in February.

At the time, an episode featuring a flashforward confirmed that a shocking crime would occur on the cobbles, with Betsy Swain making the deadly discovery, on the night of her mum Lisa Swain’s wedding to Carla Connor.

It was also confirmed in the episode aired earlier this year that it would either be Theo, Carl Webster, Jodie Ramsey, Megan Walsh or Maggie Driscoll, whose lifeless body she would stumble across, as viewers saw how their behaviours could lead to them being in mortal peril.

While Lisa and Carla’s wedding took place on April 23, it wasn’t until a week later, on May 1, after an episode of the soap was dedicated to each possible victim, that a horrified Betsy was seen discovering Theo dead, which came after he was seen giving chase to his partner, Todd, who was trying to escape him and leave for Thailand, as well as sinisterly confronting Summer Spellman.

After the reveal, Corrie unveiled who was in frame for Theo’s murder, with Todd, Summer, George Shuttleworth, and Christina Boyd being questioned, while Gary Windass and Theo’s ex-wife, Danielle Silverton, could also be guilty of Theo’s demise as DS Lisa Connor-Swain and DC Kit Green lead the investigation.

This week, all eyes have been on Summer. As George tidied up at No.11, he accidentally knocked over her bag. Picking up the contents, George found Summer’s journal, and while Christina told him not to pry, he was left horrified to see some of Summer’s notes, as she described putting a gun to Theo’s head.

Curiosity then got the cat, as George and Christina were soon seen settling down on the sofa to read Summer’s dark thoughts, all with a pick n mix in hand. But they were soon startled by Summer’s sudden return, who was furious to find them reading through her journal, before storming out.

She was later seen burning the book, fearful it would make her seem like she had murdered Theo, but she was later taken in for questioning by Lisa after her wedding photos revealed her as wearing the brooch, which was found in Theo and Todd’s flat, covered in blood.

After being questioned by Lisa, Summer lied about seeing Theo on the night of his death and was let go. But it was then revealed that George had spotted her rushing down the cobbles from the direction of the flat on the night of Theo’s murder, with Christina encouraging him to tell the police what he saw.

It then led to Summer being picked up by Lisa again during Thursday’s (May 21) episode, with George and Christina keeping quiet about their role to play as Todd despaired. It was then in Friday’s (May 22) Corrie that Summer was seen being questioned and shared the truth about seeing Theo’s before he was found dead.

Summer inisted she wasn’t the one who killed Theo, and remembered that when she left Todd and Theo’s flat, she saw Tyrone, who also saw Theo alive from the window. When Lisa went to verify Summer’s versions of events, Tyrone said she was wrong. When pushed, he claimed: “There’s nothing to tell and I wouldn’t lie about something like that.”

Tyrone lied about not seeing Summer leave the flat, with Theo still alive

But a flashback sequence confirmed that Tyrone was lying, and that he did see Summer leaving the flat, and seeing Theo alive at the time. It has led Corrie fans to share their theory as to why the mechanic isn’t telling the truth, leaving Summer to face charged for Theo’s murder.

@EileenCumi28050 said: “Tyrone is lying. Collaborating Summer’s story would mean implicating himself in the attack on Carl. #corrie.” @thechanelbootss commented: “omds tyrone lying…. he’s definitely the one who squashed carl under that car.” @DrSwarla2025 wrote: “What is Tyrone hiding ? Think he is the one that dropped the car on Carl that night. #corrie.”

@LadyReignFC posted: “It’s not like Summer’s just being questioned like George. If Tyrone doesn’t come forward when he hears & let’s Summer go to prison, I’ll be very disappointed in him. He can always lie about dropping the car on Carl & Carl didn’t press charges. #corrie.” @swoosh286 added: “I think Tyrone was the one who dropped the car down on Carl that night!”

After Tyrone Dobbs denied seeing Summer Spellman leave Theo Silverton’s apartment on the night of the murder, viewers of Coronation Street became even more convinced that he was hiding a much bigger secret than he had initially told the police.

In a recent episode, DS Lisa Connor-Swain tightened the investigation after Summer’s testimony revealed numerous inconsistencies. Summer claimed that Tyrone was near the scene when she left Theo’s apartment and could confirm that Theo was still alive at the time. However, when questioned by Lisa, Tyrone coldly denied the entire story, saying he “knew nothing.”

What caught viewers’ attention even more was Tyrone’s tense demeanor after Summer was taken in for a second interrogation. Despite trying to appear calm, he constantly avoided Fiz’s gaze and seemed worried upon hearing that Summer might be formally charged with murder.

Immediately after that scene, social media exploded with a host of new theories. Many fans believe Tyrone is trying to hide his role in the earlier accident involving Carl Webster, and that confirming Summer’s story would put him in the crosshairs.

@soapfan1987 wrote: “Tyrone clearly knows more than he’s saying. He looked terrified when Lisa mentioned the timeline. #Corrie.” Meanwhile, @WeatherfieldTea commented: “He’s protecting himself, not Summer. That flashback gave everything away.”

Other viewers suggested that Tyrone might have returned to Theo’s apartment after seeing Summer leave. This theory emerged after viewers noticed a small detail in Friday night’s episode: Tyrone appeared to have grease stains on his sleeve, identical to those he had while working at the garage earlier that day. Many fans believe this could be related to him having helped Carl fix the car that fell off the lift.

@CorrieDailyNews posted: “What if Tyrone went back upstairs after Summer left? The timing feels suspicious.” While @StreetTalkUK added: “He’s acting guilty because he probably stumbled across Theo after the attack and panicked.”

Besides that, viewers are beginning to suspect that Tyrone might be protecting someone else. Some believe he knows exactly who is behind Theo’s death but doesn’t want to reveal it for fear of involving his family.

This becomes even more noteworthy when Evelyn Plummer notices Tyrone acting strangely during the family dinner. When Fiz mentions Summer, Tyrone almost falls silent and immediately changes the subject. He then secretly leaves the house in the middle of the night, leading many fans to believe he was trying to meet someone connected to the case.

@CobblesQueen wrote: “Tyrone sneaking out at night definitely means something. Corrie wouldn’t show that scene for no reason.” Another viewer, @SoapAddict90, agreed: “Either Tyrone knows the killer or he accidentally caused something himself.”

Meanwhile, Todd Grimshaw continues to despair as Summer becomes increasingly targeted by the police. Todd believes Tyrone is lying but doesn’t understand why he would put Summer under such immense pressure. In an emotional scene, Todd goes to the garage to confront Tyrone directly, demanding he tell the truth before it’s too late.

However, Tyrone remains silent, only saying, “Things are more complicated than you think.” This immediately leads viewers to believe there’s a big secret yet to be revealed.

Many Coronation Street fans now believe the next chapter of the case will revolve around the connection between Tyrone, Carl Webster, and the car that crashed in the garage. A popular theory is that Carl discovered something on the night Theo died, and Tyrone is trying to prevent that secret from being exposed.

@DramaStreetFan wrote: “Carl knows exactly what happened. Tyrone’s terrified Carl will talk.” Meanwhile, @ITVSoapUpdates commented: “This feels like Corrie setting up a massive twist. Tyrone wouldn’t lie unless he had something huge to lose.”

Furthermore, some viewers suspect that Tyrone may have unintentionally caused Theo’s death in a moment of panic. According to this theory, Tyrone may have confronted Theo after witnessing how he treated Todd and Summer, leading to an unintentional altercation.

However, the police are currently focusing on Summer as evidence against her grows. After the bloodstained brooch was discovered at Theo’s apartment, Lisa believes Summer hasn’t told the whole truth. Tyrone’s refusal to corroborate her testimony only makes the situation worse.

In the preview for the upcoming episodes, Tyrone is seen standing alone in his garage with a panicked expression before receiving a mysterious phone call. This short teaser immediately sparked speculation that he was about to be exposed by someone.

@SoapWorldLive posted: “That phone call looked like the moment Tyrone realized the truth is catching up with him.” Another viewer added: “If Summer goes down because Tyrone stayed quiet, fans will never forgive him.”
